Hello world!

I don’t have any decent graphics up – I’d need some photos of the shop and business card before we go there.
However, it includes:
–    a front page,
–    a set of news pages,
–    a product & services page (prices etc),
–    an “all about the business and you” page, and
–    a contact page which can have email, phone & fax, a map etc.

Its pretty simple to update as well, it uses a free product called wordrpess to maintain everything.

One problem you may notice is the response.  This is because http://www.m-mad.com is hosted in the US.  You’d probably want to host in New Zealand so that your customers get a good response.  i haven’t investigated pricing yet, but I’d suggest you’d be looking at up to $nz200 a year for hosting.

  1. BTW, you can decide whether you want people to comment on your news.

It’s a plus because it gets them involved in your site and hopefully your business.

it’s a minus because anyone can write anything – tehre are ways and means of controlling it, some of which are very effective, but it can take a bit of housekeeping.
